Have you ever noticed that in a story the monster is always the villain? Or that the tale is always from the human’s perspective? Well if you’re looking for a change of pace from that then you’re in the right place!
The aim of this blog is to promote literature that features the monsters as the protagonist and has the story be told from their point of view!
Now the tale can vary from a horror story to a light-hearted comedy but there are always two factors that the tales found on this blog all share. Those two main points are:
Point number one: The main character is always a monster of some kind where they’re a ghost, demon or even a slime! The type of monster doesn’t matter, in fact the bigger the diversity the better! You’ll also find that the stories found at the top of the blog contain more mainstream monsters such as vampires or werewolves. However, those that are interested in a more unique protagonist need only scroll down to find more obscure monsters if they’re interested.
Point number two: All of the stories found in this blog have young adults in mind when it comes to the target audience, as such the tale may be gory, but another mightn’t contain any real violence. At the end of the day I had teenagers in mind when I created this list.
